WIKKI TOURISTS FC HELD TO A BARREN DRAW BY KUFCA ON THE FINAL DAY OF THE PRESEASON TOUR IN AZARE.
It was a goalless draw between Kufca fc Azare and WIkki Tourists fc on the last day of the Preseason camp.
Played at the Azare Township Stadium,the match attracted a larger of spectators than the previous games within the last three days.
WIkki Tourists made early attempt to take the lead but Kufca goal tender frustrated the efforts with his brilliant goal keeping agility.
WIkki Tourists came close to scoring when Hassan Musa fired a ballistic shot that hit the Cross bar.
Suleiman Sani’s earlier volley was also pushed to a Corner by the home team keeper.
Pressure mounted on the home but they were able to held on till end of the game.
Technical Adviser of Wikki Tourists fc Muhammed Azeez Audu in an Interview said the purpose of Coming to Azare has been achieved describing Azare as a perfect place for the camp.
Azeez however called on government to upgrade the Azare Township Stadium in other to attract more games especially national games.
During the five day stay in Misau/Azare, Wikki Tourists played four matches,winning three and drew one.
