Since the release of fixtures for the 2023/24 Nigeria National Football League Season by the league body about a week ago, football Supporters and analysts have Continued to express different views on the fixtures particularly the Northern group A were all npfl relegated teams from the zone are placed in the same group with many of the commentators describing it as group of death.
In a chat with the Club’s Media Team,Technical Adviser of Wikki Tourists fc Muhammed Azeez Audu whose team is in the group admits that it’s a top group but added he is ready to face the challenge head on.
Truly the opponents in this group are experienced just like us but we have already set a target for ourselves which is returning to Premie League said Azeez.
The WIkki Tourists fc Head Coach added that training has been consistent and friendly matches organized all aimed at further strengthen the squad.
He expressed optimism that with the Support of the Government, Management and Supporters the task will be achieved.
The Nigeria National League (nnl) organisers released the 2023/24 Season fixtures on Friday 29/9/2023 at the end of it’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Jos.
The fourty teams were diveded into Northern and Southern Conferences and further splited into four sub groups.
WIkki Tourists fc is the Northern group A with other teams that include.

- Yobe Desert Stars
- EFCC Abuja
- Jedo FC
- NAF Rockets FC
- ABS Ilorin
- Mighty Jet.
The League is Scheduled to kick off on the 28th October 2023.
