Technical Adviser of Wikki Tourists FC Mohammed Azeez Audu has said that the recent friendly matches played by the team has giving him an insight of the players that are ready for the Coming 23/24 NNL Season.
Coach Azeez was reacting shortly after the friendly game against Jigawa Golden Stars where the Bauchi side won by three unreplied goals on Friday 08/09/23 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi.
He said the purpose of organizing the friendlies was to expose the players to the rigous of what to expect in the forthcoming Season.
‘The major reason for the friendly gmes was not only winning but for us to see how good and fit the players are which will eventually allow us to make informed choice.
Though I’m happy with the results but we’re not there yet until we have a formidable team for the execution of our our task’, revealed the WIkki gaffer.
He expressed optimism that with support from the new Management, Supporters and other Stakeholders Wikki Tourists can be back to npfl within the shortest time possible.
Although no date has been fixed for the commencement of the#23/24nnl season, however, it is expected that the Technical Crew will soon submit the Comprehensive/Final team list to the Interim Management.
