WIKKI TOURISTS FC HOSTED TO A RECEPTION IN AZARE CHARGE ON NPFL RETURN.
Players, Coaches, Staff and Interim board Members of Wikki Tourists fc were yesterday treated to a dinner by the Management of Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare.
The reception according to the Deputy Provost of the College Dr Ibrahim Bello who represented the Provost was put together to appreciate the Honor done to the School by Wikki Tourists for patronizing their facility.
He reiterated the Commitment of the College to a continued partnership and prayed for the Success of Wikki Tourists in its quest to return to NPFL.
Also speaking former Sports Director of the College Ahmed Alhaji Azare said the tean is lucky to have the Calibre of players and Technical Crew that are capable of taking Wikki Tourists back to its rightful place in the Nigeria football circle.
He then charge them to be focus, discipline and Committed to their duties.
Speaking on behalf of the Interim Management Committee,a board member, Malam Ishak Alhassan said the board has as it’s priority welfare of the players to enable them give their best.
He commended the State Givernor through the Commissioner of Youth and Sports for the Support to the club.
Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development Muhammed Salis Gamawa, represented by Muhammed Auwal Gotel said the purpose of bring the camp to Azare was for the players and their lager fans base to interact with each other and further strengthen relationship.
He assured of government’s Continued Support to sports development generally emphasizing on it’s desire to see that WIkki Tourists is back to Nigeria Premiere League and therefore Solicit for support and prayers from all quarters to achieve it.
The Commissioner expressed gratitude to the Management of the College for the reception promising a continued robust synergy.
Technical Adviser of Wikki Tourists Muhammed Azeez Audu was full of praises to the Interim Management Committee and Management of the College for the reception,while also promising that with the kind of support from the government and the zeal, prayers,commitment and hungry for Victory by the players, Wikki Tourists fc is on the way of returning to npfl next Season.
All invited guests had enough to Wine and Dine to their Satisfaction.
WIkki Tourists fc is expected back in Bauchi tomorrow after the 5day Camping tour of Azare.
